Harvesting Our worms are harvested on Monday, for Monday or Tuesday shipping. We only ship 2 days a week. If we are extremely busy, we may ship on Wednesday. We don't keep worms sitting
around on a shelf like some places. The worms are harvested by hand, weighed naked, then the worms are placed in peat bedding and put in a
breathable bag for shipping.
Shipping and Delivery Your worms are shipped USPS 2-3 day Priority Mail. In the U.S., delivery is
normally 2 days which is about a 90% chance of Wednesday or Thursday arrival. In Canada, the worms are normally held in customs for 5-6 days. Total
delivery time for a Canadian order is usually 8-10 days. If we receive an order on Friday after 5 p.m. CST, chances are that your order may be
shipped the following week. For shipment safety and the safety of your worms, we will need to confirm, at the time of the order, that someone will be at the address to receive
the worms. If someone cannot be at the address to receive the worms, please let us know at the time of the order and we will have the package
held at the Post Office for you to pick up. You must pick up your worm within 24 hours. When the temperatures are above 90*F at your location, we will delay
shipment until the weather cools. Same applies when the temperature is below 32*F. Trust me, worms aren't pretty when they are a pile of goo.
